Project Greenway is on exhibition at National Public Housing Museum
We are truly thrilled to be partnering with NPHM this fall! Project Greenway is showcased alongside the current exhibit, Living in the Shade, which thoughtfully explores the important role of open spaces—such as large lawns, tenant gardens, paved paths, play areas, shady seating spots, and public art—in fostering more livable, healthy, and thriving communities.
Our exhibit is on display from October 11 - November 30, 2025.
Project Greenway is a student reimagination of a stretch of land in Altgeld Gardens on the South Side of Chicago. A collaboration between Collective Learning Lab and the students of Aldridge Elementary School, this project includes a series of lessons, workshops, and field trips. Using their knowledge, ideas and desires, 30 eighth graders developed a new design for this underused land.
