What makes a community feel whole?
Collective Learning Lab works with youth to imagine and design solutions for healthy and livable communities in disinvested neighborhoods of Chicago.
We envision a Chicago where young people are recognized within and by their communities as leaders and creators who help shape solutions that build healthier, more just, and more livable neighborhoods for all.
We center cultural heritage, local history, public art, ecology, and urban design at the foundation of our project-based learning.
We work in the Bronzeville, North Kenwood, Oakland, Altgeld Gardens, Golden Gate, East Garfield Park, North Lawndale, and Hyde Park neighborhoods.
