Collective Learning Lab connects The Youth of Chicago to their city.
how we do it

We do this through our curriculum centered on ecology, sustainability, and the built environment.

We work with students to generate a concrete community project fueled by their ideas, desires and concerns.

We take steps to accomplish the project. Students leave with a clearer understanding on how things get done, a closer connection to their community, and an expanded sense of place in their city.

We bring in practicing artists, community leaders, local business owners, city officials, and stakeholders of all kinds to help our students strategize about how to bring the project into fruition.
